Study shows: consumers want smartphone with larger screen

Research among smartphone users shows that they would to exchange their current phone for a model with a larger screen, as long as the phone is thin.

The study is consistent with the development that is at the MWC in 2012 clearly showed: screens of smart phones are getting bigger, and consumers are only too happy to buy a phone with a screen of something about 4.5 inch. As long as the phone remains is thin, the group cell phone buyers that were interviewd by agency Strategy Analytics says.

Men seem to prefer a larger screen than women, and there is a clear difference between people who now have an Android phone and an iPhone. Android users opt for a bigger screen than iPhone users, which may be associated with the sizes of the phones: the iPhone has a smaller screen than most high-end Android phones.
