Official renders show Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2

After a rather dark looking image of the Fold2, the official renders have now appeared. These images show two different colours including the new Mystic Bronze.

By now we already know quite a lot about the Fold 2. It looks a lot like the existing Fold but gets a bigger screen. This is especially noticeable on the outside. The screen stretches from corner to corner which gives it a much more modern look than the original Fold.

There are also numerous improvements inside. For example, the screen will have a top layer made of real glass (UTG) and the large notch has been changed for a more subtle punch-hole. The size is also slightly improved. Thanks to the now released renders of MySmartPrice, we see that Samsung wants to release the Z Fold 2 in 2 different colours; Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze. We're going to see that a lot more in the future, for example at the upcoming Note 20 models.

Differences with the Fold

Whether any changes have been made to the hinge is not immediately clear. However, the housing looks a bit more refined because it is a bit more compact at some areas. In terms of other specifications, we can expect to see many similarities with the Note20 series. This will be announced simultaneously on August 5th. So think of a screen with higher refresh rate, renewed cameras and of course 5G support.
