Samsung will hold a special Unpacked event on September 23rd at 10 am Eastern Time. These events usually mean the introduction of a Galaxy product such as a phone. Most likely the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition will be announced there.
'Fan Edition' is a new variant that derives from the Lite edition. There is a somewhat negative meaning to the term 'Lite' and perhaps that is why Samsung was looking for an alternative. The possible September 23rd announced S20 Fan Edition is the successor to the S10 Lite
Presumably Samsung will merge the 'Fan Edition' name into 'FE'. If the rumours are true, then the S20 FE will have a 6.5-inch large screen, triple camera on the back with 12+12+8 megapixel sensor, 4500mAh large battery with 15 watts fast charging and inside a Snapdragon 865. These are not features that justify the name 'Lite'. Also because the screen has a fast 120Hz refresh rate.

Wednesday the 23rd of September we know more and we hear if all the rumours are true. The event will be live streamed on samsung.com. The Galaxy S20 FE 5G will be available in at least four colours; white orange, lavender red, navy mint and white.
