Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T product description
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T is an inexpensive smartphone that has no less than 4 cameras on the back, including a 48 megapixel one. Combined with a reasonably fast processor for fast performance and a large 4000 mAh battery, this seem like a no-brainer. But is it really?
Screen you can't get around
Imagine you want a big smartphone with modern main, 48 megapixel camera, large battery, glass exterior and you don't want to pay a lot of money. Then the Redmi Note 8T is a phone you really can't ignore. The screen measures a decent 6.3 inches. That's big but not too big. The screen edges are nice and small so 88.3% of the front consists of screen. What is extra nice for this price is the screen resolution. Full HD+ delivers sharp images, sharper than the competition in this price category.
Quad camera system
On the camera side, the 48 megapixel camera will give you the most. It delivers razor-sharp images thanks to its Quad Pixel technology. By analysing the information of 4 pixels, the Note 8T delivers one super-pixel. Ideal for when there is little light for example in the evening. There is also a camera with 120 degrees wide angle lens. This gives you up to 2.2x more viewing angle, ideal for capturing buildings, landscapes or cityscapes. The third camera is a depth of field camera for portraits. You can add studio effects such as exposure and background blur. The last camera is equipped with a macro lens. This allows you to take sharp pictures at close range, such as the veins of a leaf or the dots of a ladybug. In other words, you have a lens for every situation.
Main Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T specifications

- Snapdragon 665 processor at 2 max GHz
- 48 + 8 + 2 + 2 MP rear camera with 4-in-1 Super Pixel technology
- 13 megapixel selfie camera is in screen notch
- Speedy 4G internet
- 2 + 1 card slot for additional nanosim card or memory card
Different memory versions
One can still be so full of functions, when the battery is empty it is of no use to you. To prevent that problem, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T is equipped with a large 4000 mAh battery. Enough to last the day and equipped with an 18 Watt quick charger. Once it's empty you can recharge it in no time. Thanks to the Snapdragon 665 processor, it is reasonably fast. That chip contains 8 processing cores, each of which can do its own independent task. The high performance is largely determined by the amount of RAM memory. There are different versions available: 3GB RAM + 32 GB storage, 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and even 4 GB RAM + 128 GB. If you have the opportunity to go for a model with 4 GB RAM we can definitely recommend it. Then the phone will work just a bit easier and it will be easier to switch apps.
