Sharp Mobile; new devices and new features


Sharp Mobile has brought two new devices in the last days and several nice new features which we will be discussed here.

First the devices, which are the Sharp 550SH and the Sharp GX29. The new mid-end en low-end mobile phones are equipped with specifications when can expect from Sharp. The 550SH is a candybar with a 1.9 inch QVGA TFT screen (240 x 320 pixels), 1.3 Mpixel camera, music download, video call and video streaming via the available 3G/UMTS connection.

The second device is the new GX29, which is a clamshell that will be placed into the low-end market space. The new Sharp device is equipped with a 1.9 inch QVGA TFT screen (240 x 320 pixels), VGA camera and POP3 Email accessibility.

Furthermore the stand from Sharp was filled with new features. One of these was a device with build in VGA screen (Mobile Advanced Super-V LCD) and A-GPS for location services. Check out the pictures below and look at the amazing screen:

Another device was the W-ZERO3 that is especially made for the Asian market. The large Windows Mobile 5.0 device has a slider type keyboard like the HTC Wizard (also known as T-mobile MDA Vario, Orange SPV M3000, Qtek 9100 and i-mate JAMIN). Furthermore a large touchscreen was available next to the standard features of WM 5.0.
