OnePlus has sent out invitations for an event on Dec. 4. The event will take place in China at 7 p.m. local time and will likely mark the unveiling of the OnePlus 12.
OnePlus is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and will do so with us on December 4, 2023, in the metropolis of Shenzhen, China. In all likelihood, OnePlus will unveil its flagship for 2024, the OnePlus 12.
One prominent feature of the OnePlus 12 is its bright display of up to 2600 nits. OnePlus previously demonstrated this 2K Oriental display with manufacturer BOE. Other specifications expected are a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 from Qualcomm and a triple camera system. This is rumoured to consist of a stacked 48MP sensor for the primary camera, a 64MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
Large battery, extra fast charging
Also distinctive about the OnePlus 12 is its expected 5400mAh large battery. With this, OnePlus finally breaks thru the long-standing 5000mAh barrier many smartphones haven't broken thru. Also, don't worry that this battery will take long to charge; 100W fast charging is expected.
One More Thing
In addition to the unveiling of the OnePlus 12, there is a possibility of another product being announced. In India, the OnePlus Buds 3 has just been approved for the consumer market. These new wireless earbuds would go great with the OnePlus 12.
