The calendar for 2024 is already starting to fill up nicely. We also have an activity scheduled for January 23, namely, the unveiling of the OnePlus 12R. This device with a camera module similar to the OnePlus 12 can already be seen in all its glory.
The OnePlus 12R promises to be a slightly cheaper version of the OnePlus 12. Altho you wouldn't say so, looking at the specs. A 6.78-inch AMOLED display at 120Hz, three cameras, including a 50MP main camera, and a Snapdragon 8 processor. The latter is the Gen 2 from a year ago, though.
Images of the 12R appeared on Ishan Agarwal his timeline. We see a device in two colours, grey and blue, and with a triple camera system on the back in the same shape as seen on the OnePlus 12.

The footage also mentions a launch date. The device will reportedly be unveiled on Tuesday, January 23, at 3 p.m. CET. The OnePlus 12 should also be launched worldwide on that day. That device has already been announced for the Chinese market, but a version for beyond is still missing.
