In addition to the Galaxy A55, Samsung also released the more affordable A35. It, too, features flat sides for a more modern look. What's extra helpful here is that Samsung swapped the screen with an outdated notch for one with a hole punch.
The new Galaxy A35 is a significant update compared to its predecessors. The device looks much more modern thanks to a new design and a different screen. The Galaxy A35 has flat sides with a matte finish. The volume keys are elevated, something Samsung calls "Key Island."
The screen of the A35 has relatively uniform bezels this time around, but more important is the elimination of the notch. As a result, its predecessor looked somewhat dated—this time, a small hole was used to house the 13MP selfie camera. The screen still measures a generous 6.6 inches and displays images at a smooth 120Hz but is 1000 nits bright this time.
More scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass Victus+
We find three cameras on the back of the Samsung Galaxy A35: a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 wide-angle lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle, and a 5MP macro camera. The battery comes out at 5000mAh and can be charged quickly with up to 25W. You have to purchase the required fast charger separately.
To enjoy the Galaxy A35 for a long time, the device features sturdier Gorilla Glass Victus+. It's only found in the front, protecting the screen. Samsung does not say what the back is made of. Victus+ is more scratch and drop-resistant than Gorilla Glass 5, which was featured on the A34.

You'll find the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G in stores from March 15 in the colours Awesome Navy, Awesome Ice Blue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Lemon. There are versions with 128 and 256GB of storage.
