Google employee accidentally leaks information Pixel 6

Hiroshi Lockheimer, the current Senior Vice President of Android at Google, posted an image on Twitter. In itself nothing special but the image reveals information about the upcoming Pixel 6. The tweet has since been deleted but we have the image.

Hiroshi Lockheimer's tweet was about Material You, Android 12's new design language that you can partially personalise. In it a screenshot showing Material You in action. But the image appears to have been taken with the unannounced Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro

We can actually see an as yet unknown fingerprint ikon. Most likely, this is the location on the display where the fingerprint scanner is located. Until now, Google always used the scanner on the back. Google has already shown the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro but both have not been officially announced yet. Therefore, certain details are still unknown.

Google Tensor

Most information about the Pixel 6 that is known, is about its own chipset, Tensor. This should outpace the competition especially in the area of machine learning. Google wants to use this to improve photo and video quality. Details like how many megapixels the camera has, how much RAM memory there is and how much the new Pixels should cost are still unknown.
