The OnePlus Nord N10 is the middle child from the Nord family consisting of the more expensive Nord and cheaper Nord N100. The main disadvantage of being a middle child is that they are easily overlooked. Whether this is also the case with this Nord N10 is something we are going to find out for you here.
The N10 is also sometimes called the 'OnePlus Nord N10 5G'. Probably not without reason because it is a 5G phone and the world should know that. If we look at its price he does not even differ that much with the original Nord; the difference is at most a few tens. Why would you go for the N10 instead of the Nord? It mainly comes down to taste. For example, this N10 has a physical fingerprint scanner on the back instead of in the screen, you can plug in your own headphones thanks to the audio jack port and you can insert a memory card. Maybe you don't care about all that, but if it's a dealbreaker, at least you have an alternative.
But the N10 5G also shares a lot with the Nord. Namely a fast 90Hz screen with Full HD+ resolution. However, the screen panel is different; this N10 has a colour right IPS panel while the Nord has a contrasting AMOLED panel. The battery in the N10 is also slightly larger, 4300 versus 4115 mAh, but that difference is negligible. Especially because the screen of the N10 5G is fractionally larger. On the back we also find 4 cameras; a 64MP main camera, 119° ultra wide angle, macro camera and a monochrome camera. This gives the Nord N10 5G the highest pixels. At the front we find a single 16 megapixel shooter, but it does have face unlocking.
There is one important difference and that is the processor. The original Nord has a Snapdragon 765G and this Nord N10 5G a Snapdragon 690. This makes it less powerful on paper and less fast in practise. The question you should ask yourself is whether all the above mentioned differences outweigh the lower performance. Not that the Nord N10 5G is slow, but it runs one step slower than the Nord.
