Honor 10 product description

The Honour 10 is a modern smartphone with a spacious front screen and a double AI camera on the back. Despite this large screen, Honour has managed to place a fingerprint scanner beneath it. The front is always a convenient place for this. In this description we take a look at what else is useful about the Honour 10.

Looks with the correct trade-offs

People today want a phone with the largest possible screen in as small a housing as possible. Honour thinks to have found the solution by placing a 5.84 inch large screen that sits on the left, right and top close to the edge. By still placing a selfie camera, a small notch can be found at the top. This so called notch is a lot smaller than with some other phones so you don't have to miss too much screen. At the bottom of this spacious FullView screen is a fingerprint scanner. Where many other manufacturers place it on the back, Honour chooses to place it on the front of this 10. Right at your fingertips, even when it's on the table.

Smart cameras

You shoot pictures with a double AI camera on the back. Honour uses a 24 megapixel sensor and a 16 megapixel sensor. Combined, you have 40 megapixels together, and that in a mobile phone. The camera in the Honour 10 automatically analyses what you want to take a picture of and finds the best settings. The clever heads of Honour have over 500 different scenarios pre-programed so that there is always one that fits what you want to shoot. Convenient because you don't have to dive into the settings to get the best shots. It all happens automatically. Honour also applies an f/1.8 lens that can also let a lot of light thru in the dark. But let's not forget the selfie camera either. It also measures 24 megapixels altho this is a single camera. That high resolution ensures sharp selfies, the artificial intelligence (AI) provides blurred backgrounds for a nice portrait photo. You can also brush away the entire background and replace it with a black studio-like background. Another handy trick of the selfie camera; it recognises your face and can then unlock your device.

  • Receive data quickly thanks to 4G support
  • Double 24 + 16 megapixel camera with artificial intelligence
  • Sharp 24 megapixel selfie camera with portrait mode and studio exposure

Pretty Aurora Glass design

You'd almost forget that the Honour 10 is also just a phone. Handy here is that the device can filter out background noise so that the other side of the line understands you more clearly. These are all useful functions that you can only use as long as the battery is full. Fortunately, Honour has placed a 3400 mAh copy that looks nice and spacious on paper. In practise, however, you'll see that the screen size is a big drawback on battery life. Fortunately, the Honour 10 has SuperCharge fast charging, which means that it is half full again in 25 minutes. Honour uses the Kirin 970 processor from the factories of parent company Huawei. In the many reviews we read about him, the results are somewhat erratic. This may also be due to the EMUI-skin that Honour places on top of Android. It doesn't help speed, no matter how well-intentioned with extra features. You quickly forgive him when you see the glass aurora design in real life. Too bad it's not waterproof.
