Apple not happy with your old iPhone

Apple denounces the trend of people using their phones longer and longer. According to Apple, especially owners of iPhones 11 and 12 should upgrade to a new iPhone. With a new campaign, Apple is targeting precisely those people.

Apple, one of the wealthiest companies in the world, wants you to upgrade your old iPhone to a new iPhone 15. With a new campaign, Apple is specifically targeting owners of an iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, 12, 12 mini, 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max.

According to Apple, it is time to pull out your wallet and switch to an iPhone 15, 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max. According to a new Why Upgrade section on Apple's website, an iPhone 15 shoots at least 4x sharper photos, has 2x more storage, 2x zoom, and features portrait mode, Action Mode and Cinematic Mode.

USB !!1!

The webpage hilariously also lists having a USB port as an advantage. However, the European Union imposed the USB port, and Apple has firmly opposed it for years.

Consider refurbished

Unsurprisingly, people are holding on to their iPhones longer and longer. Not everyone is making record profits like Apple; a new iPhone now costs over 950 euros. And then you still get a slow 60Hz screen in return.

Perhaps that high price is why Apple is still offering the iPhone 13 thru its webshop. Or cheque out refurbished if your old iPhone is broken.
